Top 5 stones to combat depression

The Quebec government announced this week new restrictive measures in two regions of the province aimed at combating the second wave of COVID-19 which is beginning, with a rapid increase in the number of confirmed cases.

These are undoubtedly difficult decisions. In addition to banning private gatherings, businesses will suffer. Some did not survive the first wave, others did so with difficulty and misery and are starting this second wave of closures with their backs bent. Self-employed workers in the cultural sector, once again hard hit, are seeing their contracts canceled one after the other.

That said, the measures put in place are necessary to ensure the safety of people at risk and maintain control over health care settings and their workers who must face a second wave, while the first left them more than out of breath. .

From a personal point of view, this new wave and these measures can represent a heavy weight to bear. We therefore invite you not to hesitate to contact your loved ones, to hear from them and to consult if you feel the need. Resources are available to help you see clearly and overcome these obstacles.

However, we have put together a small list of stones that could help you overcome this depression that could overwhelm you.

Bronzitis
Bronzite is often considered a “super” anti-depression crystal. It allows us to overcome our fears and the helplessness that can inhabit us when we feel depressed. Concretely, it allows us to refocus, stabilize us and helps us feel balanced and in control.

It brings peace of mind and objectivity allowing us to put aside our judgments and gives us an overview of the stressful or negative situations that overwhelm us.

Stone of discernment, lucidity and reconciliation, bronzite gives hope, reduces doubt, insecurity and self-destructive thoughts. In addition, it gives us the courage to continue and builds our emotional strength which helps us get through difficult situations.

Remember that the use of stones in lithotherapy does not replace a medical diagnosis. If you suspect that your condition or that of a loved one requires medical attention, do not hesitate to seek medical attention.

The government of Quebec has put online a digital tool for self-management of emotional health which is full of advice and resources to contact.
